Spring into Growth

Springing Forward
Spring has sprung! Now it is time to get into action. With the extended daylight hours, maybe it’s time to maximize your abundance and make some longer range investments in your own living situation.

We have had many people write in and tell us that their wealth is falling apart, the house is overmortgaged, cash reserves are being spent, credit card companies are calling when a payment is just four days late–the list goes on and on.

When there are things that are falling apart around you and there is a pile of things that you cannot fix, it is time to look at what CAN get done. There are lots of things you can do that don’t cost a lot and will improve your outlook and your life.

You can get exercise for free, you can rearrange your lifestyle and your furniture. You can review your wardrobe and put things together differently. You can get a new hairstyle, become a ravishing brunette or a delicious blonde, and you can create wealth even in a down market.

People make changes all the time but in a LIVE RICH mentality we are here to make small steps meaningful towards a bigger plan. 2% changes are an investment into a bigger goal and to do that you need a little planning. If you want a great outside space start the planning and do some of it everyday. If you are so very sick of your flat-line career it may be time to work on a new degree or a put a fresh coat of paint on that resume.

With the extra daylight time spring offers, take a notebook and sit outside in the REAL air. Jot down some bigger plans on where you need to go and what you would like to attract Then look to your present resources and see what you already have tucked away in your bag of tricks that will help you towards your goal.

hunger,food shelf, food bank, humanity

March is a great time to double your dollars to fight hunger!

Each March, Minnesota FoodShare kicks off the largest food drive in the state restocking more than 260 food shelves. Why? Because March is the month that the federal government gives its matching funds to both food shelves and food banks. Many food banks get over half of their donations during this month. Every dollar you donate to your local food bank can be used to get food at government commodity rates that are at a drastically lower price than you can purchase the foods to donate, so dollars are a much better way to contribute. The local food shelf can order through a food bank to then purchase the type of foods the population it serves eats and needs.

Did you know that food stamps in Minnesota and across the country allow people $1.00 for each meal. It is no wonder that low income houses and people out of work are flooding food shelves.

What’s the Difference Between a Food Shelf and a Food Bank?
Food shelves are a place to get 1-3 days of food per month for a family and are often run through churches or other charitable programs.
Food banks are huge buying groups that buy foods at greatly reduced rates and give produce to low income shoppers. In Minneapolis we have the Greater Lake Country Food Bank that is the model for all food banks across the country.

The more food and money that a food shelf collects in March the more they receive of the “incentive allocation.” Help stock our local food shelves so they can receive FREE money.
